Last updated: April 18, 2026

Logia (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our real-time sermon translation platform, including our marketing website at dev.logia.live, our church dashboard at church.dev.logia.live, and our listener application at app.dev.logia.live (collectively, the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, information collected automatically, and information from third parties.

Information You Provide

  • Account information: When you register as a church administrator, we collect your name, email address, church name, and password.
  • Billing information: Payment card details and billing address processed securely through our payment processor (Polar). We do not store full card numbers.
  • Session data: Information you provide when creating translation sessions, including session names and language preferences.
  • Communications: Messages you send to our support team at support@logia.live.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: Session duration, languages selected, number of listeners, and feature interactions.
  • Audio processing: Audio streamed through our Service is processed in real-time for translation and is not stored after the session ends.
  • Log data: IP addresses, browser type, device type, pages visited, and timestamps.
  • Cookies and tracking: Cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions and improve the Service.

Listener Information

Listeners who join an event via QR code or 6-digit code are not required to create an account. We collect only the language preference selected and anonymous session participation data. No personally identifiable information is required from listeners.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send service-related communications, including receipts and account notifications
  • Respond to your support requests and inquiries
  • Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve performance
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Audio Data & Real-Time Processing

Our core Service involves processing audio in real-time for translation. We want to be transparent about how this works:

  • Audio is streamed from the church’s device to our servers solely for the purpose of real-time transcription and translation.
  • We do not retain raw audio recordings after a session ends.
  • Transcripts generated during a session are not retained for church administrators and cannot be accessed or downloaded through the dashboard. Transcription data may be retained in internal system logs solely for debugging, security, and service reliability purposes, and is not used for any other purpose.
  • We use third-party AI providers to power core Service functionality. These providers are subject to their own privacy policies and are contractually required to protect your data.

4. Information Sharing

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: With vendors who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics), under appropriate data processing agreements.
  • Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or court order, or to protect our legal rights and the safety of users.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality obligations.

We do not share your information with advertisers or for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, unless retention is required for legal obligations or dispute resolution.

Session analytics and transcript data are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days after cancellation, at which point they are deleted.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and service improvement. You can control cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our Service.

We do not use cookies for cross-site tracking or advertising purposes.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encryption of data in transit using TLS
  • Encryption of sensitive data at rest
  • Access controls and role-based permissions
  • Regular security reviews

While we take these precautions, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we may have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at support@logia.live.
